Overview

Map Change Overview

One important resource in maintaining up to date GIS information is the knowledge of field crews. The map change request solution allows field crews to record discrepancies between a map and the real world. These change requests can be shared with the GIS or mapping department to maintain accurate data.

Map Change Request can be access by your organization using the ArcGIS Collector app in the field or a web browser. By using this map, utility staff can share data discrepancies with GIS staff.
