As-Built Editing and Analysis can be used to manage and analyze a gas geometric network. This solution expedites the process of submitting as-built drawings to the GIS staff and decreases the wait time to update network data by enabling office staff to access the final drawings. As the GIS staff receives the drawings, the status of the sketch can be updated for better communication with field crews.
As-Built Mapping is a configuration of ArcGIS. When configured, As-Built Mapping can be used by field crews using the ArcGIS Collector app. This allows field crews to collect as-builts regardless of connectivity to the office network, assuming cellular coverage is available.
As-Built Mapping requires specific technical experience and software.
