Solutions Widgets Overview

The ArcGIS Solutions Web AppBuilder Widgets is a set of widgets designed to address specific workflows across industries; including utilities and emergency management. These widgets include tools to batch update features, quickly determine an isolation area, and create routes based on stops and barriers.

These widgets are deployed using ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Web AppBuilder (Developer Edition).

Requirements

  • The latest version of the Service Feasibility widget that includes the following:
    • A resolution to a bug in which the Save To Layer check box was not correctly being set in the configuration page.
    • A resolution to a bug where export options were presented in the widget but when selected, failed to execute.
  • The latest version of the Network Trace widget that includes the following:
    • A resolution to a bug in which the Save To Layer check box was not correctly being set in the configuration page.
    • A resolution to a CSS issue that removed padding from the widget frame.
January 2018
  • A resolution to an issue with the Network Trace widget that when using Internet Explorer the saved CSV from the widget would automatically open. You are now prompted to either save, open, or cancel the request when using Internet Explorer.
  • A resolution to an issue in which CSS values in the Network Trace widget were hard coded.
September 2017
  • The latest version of the Service Feasibility widget, which now supports Web AppBuilder (Developer Edition) 2.5 and includes the following:
    • A resolution to a bug in which the CSS file was being loaded from the Esri JavaScript 3.12 API.
    • An enhancement to calculate the geodesic length of the route.
    • A resolution to a bug in which the export button was hidden if business count was 0.
    • A new configuration option to convert the route length to a different unit.
    • A resolution to a bug in which the saved route length was not being rounded based on the configuration setting.
  • Grid Overlay is now part of Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS and Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS (Developer Edition)

  • A new release of the Network Trace widget to include the following:
    • A new configuration parameter to define how the outage area is calculated. Options are either a buffer of the outage or convex hull of the outage.
    • An enhancement to support GPString output types. The values from these results can be mapped to a field in the Overview results.

  • The Network Trace and Service Feasibility widgets have been certified on Web AppBuilder (Developer Edition) 2.0.
February 2016
  • The Network Trace and Service Feasibility widgets now support Web AppBuilder (Developer Edition) 1.3.
  • An update to the Network Trace widget that includes minor CSS fixes.
November 2015
  • Batch Attribute Editor is now part of Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS and does not require Web AppBuilder (Developer Edition).
